Information about the new natural abrasives

The abrasives used in PEVALIN SPEZIAL are obtained by grinding threshed corn cobs (the grains have already been removed) and walnut shells. This means that there is no competition with food. Walnut shells and corn cobs come from European cultivation. Walnut shells and corn cobs are finely ground, have a light brown or beige colour and clean reliably without damaging the skin.

According to current findings, walnut shells are also safe to use as an abrasive for people with nut allergies. Ground walnut shells have been used for many decades in hand cleaners for coarse soiling.
